Nature Center
The Sugar Creek Nature Center is a place to discover the natural world that surrounds camp. Located across from the Retreat Center, it features wildlife and natural history exhibits, field guides, and hands-on activities that help visitors learn more about the local environment.
The Nature Center is also used for guided and self-directed activities, including nature programs for campers and families. Activities have included learning about bugs, the water cycle, and other aspects of the natural world, making it a great starting point for exploring Sugar Creek's forests, prairies, streams, ponds, and wildlife.

The Nature Center also has a nice place in Sugar Creek's history: it was one of the facilities added during the camp's growth in the 1970s–1990s, alongside new cabins, staff housing, and a shower house.
