Camp Partnerships
It Takes a Village
Sugar Creek is honored to partner with these organizations in the shared work of outdoor ministry, faith formation, and community care. Each of these partners strengthens the important work that you support at Bible camp — and we're grateful to walk alongside them.
Lutheran Outdoor Ministries
Lutheran Outdoor Ministries (LOM) encourages, educates, equips, and empowers bold and faithful outdoor ministry leaders for service in the Church and in the world. Sugar Creek is part of a vibrant national network of Lutheran camps and retreat centers united by this shared mission.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
The ELCA is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States — nearly 3.3 million members in more than 8,900 worshiping communities across all 50 states and the Caribbean. As an ELCA outdoor ministry, Sugar Creek is part of a church that believes deeply in God's grace, community, and justice — and we're proud to carry that mission into the outdoors.
American Camping Association (ACA)
The American Camp Association is a community of over 10,000 camp professionals who have joined together for more than a century to ensure the quality and safety of camp programs. ACA accreditation isn't automatic — it's earned through a rigorous review of our health and safety practices, staff training, programming, and facilities. When you see the ACA seal, you can trust that Sugar Creek meets the highest standards in the industry.
