There’s always something to discover at Sugar Creek. With 660 acres of rolling hills, forests, streams, trails, and scenic overlooks, guests can choose their own pace—from an adventurous hike or mountain bike ride to a quiet walk through the Prayer Labyrinth or an evening around the campfire. These activities offer simple ways to have fun, spend time together, unplug, and reflect on your relationship with God and creation.

Many of Sugar Creek’s favorite activities are free and available anytime during your stay. Explore more than 10 miles of trails, search for the waterfall, climb the bluff for panoramic views, visit the Nature Center, explore the footbridges, go creek-stomping, or simply find a peaceful place to enjoy the scenery.

For guests looking for a little more adventure, staff-led activities are also available. Horseback riding, archery, and tractor and wagon rides can be arranged with Sugar Creek staff, who provide the equipment, guidance, and instruction needed to enjoy these experiences.

Staff-led activities: Let us know when you book your stay so we can schedule staff and have everything ready for you.

Self-guided activities: If it doesn’t need equipment or staff help, you can decide on the spot. Just let us know so it will not overlap with other activities happening at Sugar Creek.
