If you helped this past year at Sugar Creek as a volunteer, you are invited! Make plans to come, bring a friend, and celebrate together how through your hands, God enables a bigger impact to be made on all the campers who cross the bridge to this special place.
Volunteers work alongside our staff to make it possible. Areas where your Bible camp is stronger thanks to volunteers include:

Fall Family Camp Retreat
Enjoy a wonderful fall “island” of summer camp for your whole family! Step into wonderful, time-tested family activities, plus lots of options you can choose from during flex time in a beautiful valley. Experience a wide variety of activities together — both indoors and out!
Sugar Creek welcome all family shapes and sizes — including grandparents and grandchildren, chosen family, couples and empty nesters. Come for a fun, faith-centered and memorable family time with the friendliest neighbors. :)
Our energetic program staff hosts the family fun with games, reflections, arts & crafts, nature walks, horseback rides as weather permits, anytime “as a family” activity options and much more.
Come as a couple, an extended family, a small friend group or a whole busload from your congregation - and start this new tradition.
Cost: $129/person: includes all meals, program options, and lodging. Children 4 and under are free.
Lodging: choose Modern Log Cabins, rooms in our Koinonia Lodge, Manna Center rooms, Seeker Cabins (more rustic) or RV sites — now all for the same cost! First-come, first-reserved!

Guest presenter Forest Jahnke, Programs Director at the Crawford Stewardship Project, brings stories, studies, hands-on models, and ongoing mysteries about the special Karst Geology of our area.

About our Presenter
Forest was born in a barn and grew up on Dancing Waters Permaculture Co-op at the headwaters of the West Fork of Knapps Creek, tromping around in the hills and bluffs of the Driftless. After graduating from North Crawford High School he went on to Eckerd College in Florida where he graduated with a degree in Communications, minoring in International Studies and Global Affairs, and Spanish.
He has traveled through 26 countries on 3 continents, rounding out his education and helping him appreciate our special region for what it is. Forest has a passion for the beauty of this area, and is dedicated to helping folks engage to protect the values and rights of our communities and ecosystems.

Country Store and Silent Auction Bidding

Enjoy a wonderful collection of handmade items, quilters’ odds & ends, curios, baked goods, and valuable Silent Auction Gift Baskets! The Country Store is next to the “Trading Post,” the Bible camp’s gift shop, so there will be something for everyone. Is youth ministry something you’d like to support? This event showcases the incredible talent and artistry of our community! Each of the 100+ quilts tells a unique story through its intricate designs and patterns.
All proceeds from the auction directly support Sugar Creek Bible Camp, to allow us to continue providing lasting, enriching experiences for campers of all ages.
