Who we are
Sugar Creek Bible Camp is a camp and retreat and conference center located in Ferryville, Wisconsin. Established in 1966, the camp is fully ACA accredited and offers a wide array of impactful programs focused on faith formation, healthy self-confidence, and other life skills. Outdoor adventure programs for K-12 children every summer (entering grades k-12) in week-long residential and Day Camp programs.
Affectionately referred to as “the valley” by many guests and staff, Sugar Creek is nestled in 660 beautiful acres of vast forest, trout streams, ponds, and prairies in the heart of the Driftless region of Wisconsin. Campers and guests enjoy ten miles of private trails and a variety of outdoor recreation activities.
Open year-round, Sugar Creek hosts overnight events every weekend for individuals and groups in three comfortable lodges, 17 cabins, and camping areas for RVs and tents. Food service with home-style meals is also provided upon request.
As a shared ministry of 125 churches around the Midwest, mostly ELCA Lutheran congregations, Sugar Creek is a nonprofit (Christian) Bible camp. Children, youth, families, and groups of all beliefs and backgrounds are also welcome here for custom events and meaningful retreats. In 2022 we hosted guests/events all 52 weeks of the year.
